Simple steps to prepare for your sugaring treatment

 

Prior to your BIKINI hair removal treatment:

  • Hair must be at least ¼ inch long (no waxing within 2 weeks prior and no sugaring 3 weeks before your treatment).
  • Hair should not be excessively long ( 4-5 weeks without hair removal is too long).  We recommend slightly trimming the area down for your comfort.  If our therapists will need to trim you there may be an extra charge for that.
  • Skin should be clean and dry.  Avoid using any powders, sprays, or lotions prior to your bikini sugaring treatment.


Prior to your FULL FACE sugaring treatment:

  • If this is your first time getting sugaring done for the full face, allow enough time after your treatment should redness or irritation occur for your skin to calm.*
  • Skin should be clean and dry prior to treatment. If you have make up on when you arrive for your appointment, we will cleanse for you.

* Sugaring is all natural, and the most gentle form of hair removal, but there is always a possibility that this area can be sensitive and each person may have a different histamine response.


Prior to your BODY sugaring hair removal treatment  (legs, back, chest, arms):

  • Hair should be at least ¼ inch long or more for these areas of hair removal.
  • No hair removal in these areas for at least THREE weeks (or longer) prior to this treatment.


Prior to your UNDERARM sugaring hair removal treatment:

  • At least 10-14 days full of growth prior to your sugaring hair removal treatment.


POST CARE for sugaring hair removal treatments:

We carry only the finest products to care for your soft skin after sugaring. Exfoliation between sugaring treatments is essential for smooth, healthy skin and our therapists will recommend one of our gentle body scrubs to compliment your treatment. We also recommend, depending on your skin type, one of our topical gel or crème leave on treatments. Aftercare techniques are essential in keeping your skin healthy, smooth and blemish free. We want to ensure you receive the best treatment possible, so we hope that you will do what we call “your homework” to help us help you keeping your skin at it’s sweetest!
